The characteristic features of the Finnish Cock-eared dog are their interest in hunting, boldness and fidelity. They are also used when shooting birds.
Faults – Fleshy head. Blunt nose. Ears sloping at an acute angle toward the forehead line, to the sides or against one another; nor must the ears be slack at the points or have long hairs inside. Yellow or “wall-eyed” eyes. Elbows turned inward. Too pliable wrist and hock. Slack or too curly tail. Too soft, too short hair, lying against the skin or locky. Dirty or too motley colour, Spurs are unbecoming.
