Memorabilia
Memorabilia is owned by almost everyone in one form or another. Whether it is a single piece passed through generations of family members, or items produced to represent or remind us (and others) about our passions.
Much of our memorabilia is "produced" for the general plublic or for clubs or societies. Other pieces are produced by hand in very limited quantity, or one of a kind pieces. All memorabilia has been classified in one of four categories on this site.
Memorabilia displayed on this site either belongs to the owner of this site personally, or displayed with permission of the owner. Information about each piece will be added as discovered.
Ephemeral - Made of paper, these items have a harder time lasting in mint condition without damage. This category includes Stamps, Cards, Art such as Charcoal, Drawings and Paintings; Cards; Stamps and more. Books are listed under our Media section.
Fabric - Made of cloth/textiles and leather, these items usually last longer then paper but like paper, textiles last longer when clean, maintianed in archival quality display or storage procuts storage. This category includes, clothing, bags, shoes, quilts, sewn or crafted products and more.
Metal - Memorabilia made of metal can usually last longest but is more labor intensive for the tooling process. This category includes Coins,
Wood - Memorabilia made of wood can last quite a long time. These items might inclulde manufacture or hand crafted items cut to resemble the Finnish Spitz for display, Carved boxes, plaques, Furniture and more.
