Despite the passion for the breed those of us who fancy Finnish Spitz; like any other breed he/she has needs and a temperament that may not suite your life style. Then, after you have determined that a Finnish Spitz is truly the right breed for you and your family, be patient and aware so you find the breeder right for you.
If you like the idea of rescue, check out the rescue resources. You may find a purebred Finnish Spitz but are more likely to find a Finnish Spitz mix, which still are very lovely dogs needing forever homes. Most responsible breeders will have as part of their contract, a "Right of First Refusal". This means that if, for any reason, at any time in your Finnish Spitz' life, you find yourself in a situation that you cannot keep the dog; the Breeder will take the dog back and make sure to re-home the dog in an appropriate home. Please honor this rather than surrender the dog to a shelter or abandon him/her.
